Mukta Neer Open Shelter

The Shelter is started in 2018 at Mukta Neer Complex, Contai (Near Central Bus Terminus). It has been being continued in the Contai Municipal area with three contact points: i) Mukta Neer Complex ii) School Bazar & 2) Darua, with financial assistance from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India and Deptt. of Women & Child Development, Govt. of West Bengal under ICPS for 25 boys in the age group between 6 and 18 years. To cater to children in need of care and protection particularly beggars, street and working children, rag pickers, small vendors, street performers, orphans, deserted or trafficked or run away children, children of migrant population and any other vulnerable group of children are our beneficiaries.
